WHY DID THE TITANIC HIT ICEBERG?

From my research and observation, they had 37 second to turn the ship. the iceberg appeared
directly infront of them. :D
Hard to starboard was a tiller order directing the helmsman to turn the wheel to port(anti-clockwise)
as far as it would go. The Titanic's steering gear then pushed the tiller toward the starboard side  of the ship, swinging the rudder over to port and causing the vessel to turn to port. :D
They made a big mistake putting the engines in reverse though as this would effect the steering ability
of such a big ship. ^_^
The iceberg itself was unusual one though and probably played the biggest part in the whole ordeal, it wasn't the type of iceberg you see polar bears playing on. It was black iceberg and it  just look like this:-

so, everyone have their own opinions. No one really knows this phenomenan mystery. But only one really knows all the mystery in the world,He is Allah. :)
